LGD potential Puppies for sale
PLEASE go to http://www.gpcgc.org/pyrforme.htm and read up on this breed before you purchase ANY GP. They are a tough
breed to handle. This site describes them perfectly. We would be happy to answer your questions, just call us.
These are the puppies under 4 months old. These have shown some talent/potential as LGD's and have been raised as LGD
puppies should be raised. In a pack with mom, lambs, kids (baby goats), poultry and more with very little human contact. They
will have first round of shots and worming before they go to your farm.
We recommend that your puppy stays here till six months old for the best results. In fact we will even guarantee their
success then. However you can take them anytime AFTER 8 weeks (as required by federal law).
Base price is $400. Those that show signs of superior LGD talents are more. If they show they may not have it in them
the price goes down. (We have been wrong before. I once thought Beth Anne couldn't cut it, yet she is my most aggressive protector.
It is hard to call till about month 5).
If a certified service dog trainer needs a puppy we consider a break in the price if the discount is passed downstream
to a needy family.
We Guarantee our puppies in three ways-
FIRST GUARANTEE-
We guarantee our pets to be sound and healthy. When you take your new LGD to your vet as soon as you get him/her have
him checked out. If your vet finds something they don't like have them write a note of what and why and we will take the animal
back, exchange with another (if possible) or refund your money.
SECOND GUARANTEE-
After six months of age and 4 months of patrolling on our farm, we will know that they are bulletproof. At that point
we will guarantee them to be safe around your livestock. If any of them ever kills any sheep/lamb, goat/ kid, cattle/calf,
or equine we will take the dog back and refund your money paid for said dog. Poultry are not covered at this time. We will
need to see the carcass. Ask for details.
THIRD GUARANTEE
Sometimes things happen in life that creates an unfortunate situation for a family and their LGD. If anyone ever needs
to surrender one of our dogs we will accept them back and find them an appropriate home that will match their needs/personality.
However we will never place a returned/rescued animal as a working dog. This will be at no cost to either party, we just offer
this for the benefit of the animal. We NEVER want to have one of our wonderful animals end up in a shelter or worse when a
family can no longer care for them properly.
The cost to have your puppy stay with our pack till 6 months costs about $150 a month for boarding and "training"
plus any vet expenses. Specialized handling or training is extra. A Great GUARANTEED animal at six months then will cost around
$1650. We take one or two from most litters and raise them for our customer that lost their dog/s and needs immediate replacement
protection for their flock.
We can custom raise any animal that you desire to be included in the pack for just a few extra weeks till up to 8 months.
(Intact boys must leave at 6 months and girls by 8 months). Routine & emergency vet needs will be done by New hope vet
in Rock City, Il or Brodhead vet in Brodhead Wi, other work can be at your vet if desired).
